Nitrocision's patented method of cooling and pressurizing liquid nitrogen to create an ultra-high pressure jet of liquid nitrogen with a density comparable to water. By regulating the temperature and velocity, the jet of liquefied nitrogen can be used to clean surfaces, remove coatings or contamination, and cut various materials. NitroJet® pressurizes liquid nitrogen between 5,000 and 55,000 PSI. The ejection speed of the cryogenic liquid from the nozzle can reach MACH 3.

Cleaning

The NitroJet's® precise liquid nitrogen technology provides a superior method of cleaning and decontaminating components without generating secondary waste. Powered by chemically inert liquid nitrogen (NitroJet®) helps to eliminate cross contamination and secondary waste streams, therefore; the volume of disposal in the decontamination process can be significantly reduced. NitroJet® can be deployed manually with hand held tools or remotely with the use of robotics.

Cutting

NitroJet's® technology uses liquid nitrogen, which enables the use of a wider variety of entrainment materials, even those that are water soluble.

By using liquid nitrogen, we have greater flexibility when cutting hard materials and the cleanup of water soluble entrainment materials is faster and more complete. Regulating the operation pressure and/or end effector nozzle allows that the levels of surface material removal can precisely be adjusted to provide the specified accuracy and control required for the application.
